Lavan Leadership Challenge

THE HAWAIIAN RIDE FOR YOUTH
Since its inception in 2003, the Hawaiian Ride for Youth has become one of Australia’s premier charity events, raising more than $22 million to support the life-changing work of Youth Focus.

In 2020, over 170 riders will cycle from Albany or Jurien Bay over four and a half days, visiting 26 regional schools and engaging with more than 3,500 high school students.

THE LAVAN LEADERSHIP CHALLENGE
The inaugural Lavan Leadership Challenge is a chance for corporate and community leaders to participate in this iconic event, while directly supporting the involvement of a young person. Together, leaders and youth challengers will prepare and train for an eight-week period, before embarking on the final leg of the Hawaiian Ride for Youth from Mandurah to Perth.

This is a unique opportunity for respected business and community leaders to challenge themselves, while also providing a meaningful mentorship opportunity to a youth challenger. Leaders will support youth challengers in building resilience and developing essential skills relating to self-esteem, goal setting, social skills and communication.
