Through my own experiences with mental health issues, as well as seeing and being there for family and friends, I have learnt that depression and other mental health issues are blind to race, gender, socio-economic status, location, health and age. It can impact anyone.
I signed up to do the Ride for Youth this year as it raises awareness and much needed funds to support young people and their mental health.
Wish me luck on this challenge - I'm hoping the saying "it's just like riding a bike" holds true!
