Ride Week 2021 has arrived!

Today, our 136 riders, support crew and Youth Focus representatives will travel from Perth to Albany by coach in readiness for the 19th annual Hawaiian Ride for Youth.

Tonight, all participants will enjoy a hearty dinner in Albany together at Rustlers Steak House before hitting the road tomorrow. Over the course of the week, each rider will cycle approximately 700km on one of three pelotons across Coastal, Inland and Wheatbelt routes before reuniting in Mandurah on Friday. Along the way, the riders will visit 19 regional schools to promote positive mental health and build awareness of the free support services Youth Focus offers in these areas.

After the cancellation of last year’s Ride Week, this year’s event has even more special meaning.

Never has access to mental health been so important to young people. The demand for Youth Focus services is ever-increasing, and your contribution enables the organisation to continue to deliver free professional face-to-face counselling services to thousands of young people each year.
