Go Back

Our riders arrived in Jurien Bay on Monday to enjoy a warm-up ride along our spectacular Turquoise Coast, before being treated to a BBQ lunch by the welcoming Jurien Bay Lions Club.

Following lunch, the riders visited Jurien Bay District High School where Mike Young of Team Buswest engaged the students with his personal mental health story.

In the evening, the Shire of Dandaragan hosted a cocktail function at the Turquoise Coast Visitors Centre to officially launch the Mid West route of the 2019 Hawaiian Ride for Youth.

A huge thank you to Jurien Bay Camera Club, who followed our riders’ on their first day in Jurien Bay. Check out a selection of the stunning photographs on our Facebook page.

Today, on the first official day of the Ride, our riders cycled 135km from Jurien Bay to Moora. The riders arrived at Central Midlands High School after lunch, where Isabelle Andrews of Team ASX presented to students.
