I am a social sportsman who is passionate about helping others in need and so I align myself to a limited number of charities, foundations and causes where I have a personal connection and also where I can make a difference.
As a self confessed "rugby tragic" I support the Pot Bellied Pigs RFC based in Hong Kong who support youth rugby and underprivileged children in the Philippines and across Asia.
As an "enthusiastic jogger" I have run a few marathons and quite a few half marathons and I am proud to support the Miracle Babies Foundation who are Australia’s leading organisation supporting premature and sick newborns, their families and the hospitals that care for them.
My new challenge is to become a "social cyclist" and I am delighted to be part of the KPMG team riding in the Ride For Youth 2018 event raising awareness and funds for the Youth Focus charity.
Similar to other mature "armchair athletes" I realise that "the older I get ... the faster I once was ... and the slower I've become" but, combining my passion for social sport and my personal commitment to make a difference for worthwhile causes, I am delighted to be part of the Ride For Youth 2018 and I urge you to support me and donate to the Youth Focus charity.
Thank You .... Rugby-Ray
