20-24 March 2018
The Hawaiian Ride for Youth is held annually over 4.5 days, with riders travelling from Albany or Geraldton to Perth over a total of more than 3000kms to raise funds and awareness for Youth Focus. While cycling through towns in WA’s South West, Great Southern, Wheatbelt and Mid West the riders visit high schools to engage and inform students on issues of youth suicide, depression, anxiety and self-harm, as well as the services that Youth Focus provides.
As part of their fundraising, the Hawaiian Ride for Youth riders and teams host a number of events to generate funds and awareness for Youth Focus. Support the riders and teams in their fundraising endeavours by attending an event and getting involved.

Youth Focus is a unique independent for-purpose organisation that supports vulnerable young people in Western Australia by offering a range of mental health services. It operates with a team of highly trained and skilled psychologists, social workers and occupational therapists to provide a range of early intervention and prevention services free of charge. These services are aimed at supporting young people and their families to overcome the issues associated with suicide, depression, anxiety and self-harm.
All funds that are raised as part of the Hawaiian Ride for Youth go towards assisting Youth Focus in the prevention of youth suicide and depression. Youth Focus provides free services in a way that are ‘youth friendly’, flexible, needs driven and personalised.
