I'm proud to be part of the 2012 Ride of Youth Family.
I feel better being part of a cause that really makes a difference to peoples lives.
One can prepare and plan, but like life, raising a family can be full of challenges so its good to know that organisations like Youth Focus can really make a difference.
Fitting in 12 hrs of training over a 20 week is a huge committment. The Albany to Perth week is a 700km ride but its also more time away from home.
I'd like to thank my precious, wonderful, one of a kind wife, Anna and our special boys, Sam and Will, for all those 5am starts and lost weekends because I was too buggered recovering from those rides in the hills.
A big sepcial thanks to all my friends and family who continue to support me and the cause through both moral and financial support.
