Hi to all.

I've got to know a few of the Ride For Youth riders over the years, and my respect for their motives and approach has grown. This year seemed to be the right time for me to have my first ride. It is a wonderful opportunity to gain fitness, have some fun, and give something back to the community. The early mornings for training are hard for me, but perhaps even harder for my understanding wife, Jenny.

We have had some direct experience of teenage depression within our family. Thankfully, we had no tragic result, have been in a position to find good help, and to work through it. It is a long term process.

But I'm riding for those less fortunate than me, who have less resources within reach. Donations to Ride For Youth are very effective, since the riders support all ride costs. A huge thank you to all donors. Through Youth Focus, you bring hope and make many things possible.
