Positive Media Coverage is Key to the Ride

The Hawaiian Ride for Youth media summary and social media guidelines have been established to highlight the benefits of social media usage, and to protect the interests of the Ride participants and the corporate and community organisations involved.

Positive social media usage has many benefits, including building advocacy for the Ride, increasing engagement within the community, attracting potential donors and importantly, raising awareness of youth issues in the community.

Team Vimy Sundowner in the Quad

On the 19th of February more than 300 Groovers attended the Team Vimy ‘Sundowner in the Quad’ held in the gorgeous surrounds of UWA’s St Georges College Quadrangle.

Luxfoods cooked up a storm again with Paella being produced on an industrial scale, and a selection of locally produced wine, champagne and beer complementing the gourmet delights.

The 130 guests at beautiful Burswood on Swan heard from Tourism WA Commissioner, former Fashion Council of WA Chairman and company director for a number of listed company, Government and not-for profit boards Tracey Horton as well as fellow panellists, WACA CEO Christina Matthews and CEO WA Primary Health Alliance Learne Durrington on how they have risen through the corporate ranks to achieve success in their respective careers.
