Tim’s Ride is an annual event in memory of Tim Anderson who was tragically killed while cycling in 2012. It aims to bring together all parts of the cycling community to improve cycling safety with an emphasis on visibility and interaction with vehicles. Any profits or donations go towards Tim’s Scholarship which is managed by Youth Focus and assists a young person associated with the organisation with their tertiary education.

It was a great turnout of both new and prior riders on such a wintry day. Thank you to Bruce Sinclair for presenting to the riders about the best techniques for holding successful fundraising events.
The Youth Focus Induction Evening was held on 12 August at the Youth Focus Burswood Office. Many thanks to all who attended this event, which gave our 2016 riders an introduction to the services Youth Focus provides.
The riders met Hawaiian Ride for Youth Chairman Bruce Fielding and Amanda Hender, Clinical Lead, who spoke to the riders about the services Youth Focus offers in our community.
