The 15th anniversary Hawaiian Ride for Youth made history. This year saw a record-breaking number of riders, female riders, CEO Challengers, the additional of a new Mid West route, a record number of schools and students visited, and, a record amount of $2.4 million raised to support Youth Focus. This total is continuing to rise.
Four days down, one to go! The Mid West crew has spent the day pondering their position four days in. There is an excitement to arrive at Kings Park and reconnect with family, and also relief from the gruelling physical challenge that comes with five consecutive days of riding. However, there is also a strong sense of connection with each other, a desire for it to keep going and a reluctance to end it so soon.
