In an effort to maintain the link between past participants and the Hawaiian Ride for Youth (R4Y) a group of keen cyclists have formed a Ride for Youth Alumni.
During the past six years 103 riders and 24 support crew have participated in the R4Y and raised an astounding $2.5 million for Youth Focus. The difference made to many young lives through the work that Youth Focus has been able to do with these funds, makes the Ride unique amongst other fund raising events.

Please find below information about a number of new fundraising opportunities to enable past riders and/or support crew to continue to be involved in raising awareness and funds for Youth Focus.
1000 Club
The R4Y 1000 Club is open to individuals and corporations who aim to raise $1,000 each year for the Hawaiian Ride for Youth to assist Youth Focus in the prevention of youth suicide, depression and self harm.
1000 Club members that raise $1000 by 31 March 2009 will be presented with a complimentary R4Y Alumni Kit (jersey and knicks) at an official R4Y Alumni function in late April 2009.

R4Y Fundraising Number Plates
RFY Number Plate packages are available for $275 and include:
- front and rear R4Y number plates
- front and rear plastic number plate surrounds (Youth Focus branded)
The official DPI Number Plate Order Forms will not be available until December 2008. In the meantime we will be accepting Expressions of Interest. Numbers (other than the reserved numbers) will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Download an Expresion of Interest Form here.
All orders must be submitted direct to Youth Focus NOT the Department of Planning & Infrastructure (DPI).
RIDERS
Number plates 1 - 299 have been reserved for riders, corresponding to their R4Y ID number.
Please note: Rider’s number plates will be reserved until the 31 December 2008 and released to the public after this date.
SUPPORT CREW & GENERAL PUBLIC
Number plates 300 – 999 will be available for purchase by support crew and the general public. These numbers will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Please download an Expression of Interest Form to request a number.
